As an owner of both the Cupcage and The Grip, I feel compelled to compare these two devices against each other. The Cupcage is made out of PLA and TPU plastics, and the material does feel cheaper than The Grip. That makes sense, since the Cupcage is cheaper than The Grip, but I have been hesitant to wear it long-term because it does feel more cheaply made. What I like about the Cupcage is that they provide a wide-range of glans ring sizes which allow you to dial in the correct fit despite their "one-size-fits-all" model. When the glans ring is sized correctly, the Cupcage is fairly secure, probably more so than most ball-trap style cages. I remember receiving the cage VERY quickly after purchasing, despite being located on the opposite side of the world from their headquarters in Australia. I like the customization options they offer in terms of mixing-and-matching colors at checkout, selecting from different design patterns and offering engraving services. There is a slot on the side of the cage that is meant to attach to a waist band, but I havent never tried this. I'm skeptical a waist belt would work well with the Cupcage as most waist bands connect to the base ring of a ball-trap cage, where the base ring is already anchored onto the body and the band simply helps it stay in place. With the Cupcage, it seems like you would be pinning your penis against your waist, but again this is not something I have tried. Overall, the cheap price point and fast shipping makes the Cupcage an ideal device for anyone looking to dip their toes into shaft-only devices before upgrading to a more expensive option.

Chastity Device – Male Chastity Belt (BBCB)

I'm not sure how realistic it would be to wear a full chastity belt such as the BBCB long-term, but it sure is fun to wear for short stints. It is the most visual appealing of all the chastity devices I own and it puts me in a different mindset to be locked in a full chastity belt, as you feel a lot more "locked down." The steel waist band can cut into my hips and I typically wear a fabric waist guard (apparently these are made for volleyball players) underneath the waist band to precent cutting up the skin. The belt is modular so you can choose how you want to wear it. When fully assembled, the waist band connects to a ball ring and penis cage, which is enclosed under a larger steel cage. When it is assembled this way, it looks like there is a traditional chastity cage which is locked to the waist belt, and additionally locked behind another cage, preventing the wearer from even accessing the inner chastity cage. I have found the ball ring to be uncomfortable, so I sometimes will wear the belt without that piece. It is only slightly less secure in my opinion to lock only the penis cage to the waist belt, omitting the ball ring. You can also choose to wear only the ball ring and penis cage with the waist belt, omitting the outer cage. The belt is pretty hard to conceal under clothing, and while I have jogged in it before, it's not the most fun activity in the belt. I did purchase the dildo attachment, which I have used with my wife while remaining locked in the belt. My wife humors me with this occasionally, but I find it extremely hot. Overall, my BBCB is great for play but probably not realistic for long-term wear. I value it as a core part of my collection and would recommend it to collectors who want to try something different and aren't necessarily looking for a "daily driver."

A few things I don't like about this device to start: 1.) The cage I received does not really look like the design on Badass Workroom's website. It's possible that this was required based on the size dimensions I specified, but it was certainly a surprise when I received the cage. 2.) There was a 5-6 month lag from purchase date to when I received it. 3.) There is frequent pinching at the junction where the base ring attaches to the glans ring insert. With that being said, there are also some things I really like about this cage: 1.) I purchased it in titanium and it is extremely lightweight for a metal device. 2.) When I am not being pinched as described above, the cage i fairly comfortable 3.) The inner glans ring provides ample security without a piercing. I do not think I could pull out from the device, and I certainly wouldn't be able to re-insert back into the cage while it is still locked It was an expensive purchase with some downsides, but overall I am fairly happy with the purchase. I expect the BA-34R to be a regular part of my rotation for quite some time.

The Cupcage really caught my interest due to its unique design, and I've put it through its paces over the past few weeks. As a hands-on guy, I appreciate that it comes with 8 different ring sizes, allowing me to find the one that best balances comfort and security. For me, the key was finding the sweet spot in terms of ring size to prevent slipping out. It did happen a couple of times, but once I adjusted to the right ring, it stayed in place fine. The Cupcage is easy to adjust when needed, and I like how it prevents full erections without being overly tight when things get a bit excited. Hygiene-wise, it's a breeze to clean without removal, which is a win for anyone who wants extended wear without frequent interruptions. However, deep cleaning is still a must from time to time. Aesthetically, the lock's position makes it blend smoothly under clothes—no awkward bumps, which is always a bonus.
